In this spacious bedroom a load-bearing beam that rises 30 cm from the floor splits the room in two. Behind it we created a small raised platform at the same height as the beam, which became a reading and relaxation zone. Thanks to the size of the bedroom the change fits perfectly and created a place for quiet rest.
The walls here are lined with shelving and storage so no space is wasted. The bedroom itself is free of distractions: the bed is the main element, with no desk, so the sleeping and relaxing zone stays undisturbed. The room is divided into zones so rest never mixes with work.
A built-in wardrobe with matt black wooden and frosted glass doors runs along one entire wall and offers plenty of storage. Opposite the bed is a TV for comfortable viewing without disturbing the calm atmosphere.
