Every space has hidden potential. This apartment was outdated both in layout and in technology, so compromises were not an option and we went for a radical solution. The original plan was dominated by an inefficient twelve-metre corridor that wasted valuable living space. We therefore opted for a complete renovation and rearranged the entire core. Removing the old partitions let the space breathe, and the useless circulation zone was replaced by a continuous line of minimalist built-in wardrobes with a hidden utility room.
Besides maximising space, a key aim of our design was to dramatically improve psychological comfort. We moved the bedroom, previously exposed to street noise, to the quiet courtyard side, creating a true oasis of calm. The material palette of raw concrete plaster, expressive black and white marble and warm oak reflects our signature Urban Sophistication style.
