Terms and conditions
These terms apply to services provided under the Home Harmony brand by Matija Burkuš, company ID (IČO) 295 86 194, Zrzavého 1705/4, 163 00 Prague 6 – Řepy, Czech Republic (the “provider”). The provider is a sole trader registered in the Czech Trade Register and is not a VAT payer.
1. Definitions
The client is anyone who enters into a contract with the provider, whether as a business or as a consumer.
Individual arrangements in a quote or contract take precedence over these terms.
2. Services and prices
The provider offers site surveys, space planning, interior design, moodboards, photorealistic 3D visualisations and help with delivery, including choosing contractors and quality supervision.
Prices on the website, including the calculator, are indicative and do not constitute a binding offer. The final price is based on an individual quote according to floor area, number of rooms and scope of services.
The price of the design does not include furniture, materials, transport or contractors' work unless agreed otherwise. The provider is not a VAT payer, so prices are final.
3. How we start working together
- The client sends an enquiry via the website form, by email or by phone.
- A free initial consultation follows, after which the provider sends a quote with price, scope and timeline.
- By accepting the quote (an email or message is enough) and paying a deposit, if the quote includes one, a contract is concluded under the quote and these terms.
We communicate in Czech or English.
4. Payment terms
- The amount and due date of the deposit and final payment are set in the quote.
- Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue unless stated otherwise and are paid by bank transfer.
- If payment is late, the provider may pause work until the amount is paid; the delivery date moves accordingly.
5. Working together
The client allows the site survey and provides the documents needed on time, especially floor plans, photos and information about technical limits. If documents are late, delivery moves by the length of the delay.
The price includes the rounds of feedback stated in the quote, usually two. Further changes or changes to the brief are charged after prior agreement.
Construction changes, work on load-bearing structures and installations must be consulted by the client with a structural engineer, the building manager or the building authority. An interior design does not replace project documentation for a building permit.
6. Handover
The work is handed over by sending the outputs listed in the quote, usually electronically (PDF, visualisation images, drawings). The client has 7 days to review them and raise any objections; after that the work is considered accepted.
Visualisations show the design as faithfully as possible, but colours and materials may differ from reality depending on lighting, screen and production batch.
7. Copyright
After full payment the client may use the design and visualisations to deliver their own interior and for private purposes. Reusing the design in another space or selling it requires the provider's consent.
The provider may show finished designs and visualisations in its portfolio, on its website and on social media without the client's name or address, unless the client asks otherwise in advance.
8. Delivery and contractors
If the provider helps choose contractors or supervises delivery, the client contracts suppliers and tradespeople directly. The provider is not liable for defects in their work but will help resolve them.
9. Liability
The provider is responsible for the work matching the agreed brief. Rights from defective performance and the complaints procedure are described in the Refund and cancellation policy.
For business clients, compensation for damage is limited to the price of the order. This limit does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, nor to consumers.
10. Consumers
A consumer may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. Details are in the Refund and cancellation policy.
The Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz) handles out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes. The provider is supervised by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority and the relevant trade licensing office.
11. Personal data
How the provider handles personal data is described in the Privacy policy.
12. Final provisions
Matters not covered by these terms are governed by Czech law, in particular the Civil Code (Act No. 89/2012 Coll.) and the Consumer Protection Act (Act No. 634/1992 Coll.). The Czech version of these terms prevails.
The provider may change these terms. Contracts already concluded are governed by the version in force on the day they were concluded.
These terms are effective from 27 September 2026.
